For the first time since 1934, hunters across the country have a unique opportunity to win a suppressor and potentially have it in their hands before the hunting season concludes. The Hunt Suppressed Raffle will take place from September 3rd through September 20th, 2024 and includes over $27,000 in prizes.
Thanks to the relentless advocacy and educational efforts of the American Suppressor Association (ASA), law-abiding citizens in 42 states now have the right to own suppressors, with hunters in 41 states able to use them to protect their hearing in the field. This raffle not only celebrates the significant progress made but also fuels the mission to ensure suppressor legalization in all 50 states.
“Our work is far from over,” said Knox Williams, President of the ASA. “We’ve made great strides in states like Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, Vermont, and Wyoming, where suppressors are now legal for hunting. But our mission won’t be complete until every American hunter has the right to protect their hearing with a suppressor.”
