Yes, you read that right. On the list of options in Palmetto State Armory’s 2025 Concept Poll, where you get to vote for the top three firearms that you’d like PSA to put into production this year, is the Sabre Lancet .50 caliber rifle. Seen in prototype form at SHOT Show, this bad boy is a semi-automatic chambered in .50 BMG.
At the show it was rocking a 20-round Fostech drum magazine (the Sabre Lancet is compatible with Barrett footprint mags) and a big honkin’ suppressor.
Aside from the photos, the name of the rifle, and the specs on the card seen below, we have effectively no information at this point on the Sabre Lancet .50 cal. I’m confident that we can assume — as with all PSA firearms — it’s intended as a much more affordable alternative to other versions of such a rifle. What “affordable” means in the .50 BMG game is hard to say, though.
If you like the idea of a semi-auto 50 BMG that may actually be financially achievable, keep an eye on the PSA site to see the results.
More Dakka comes to mind in the best ways.
I like it, but not the idea of a 30 MOA top rial .
It’s spelled BRAKE
What will be the price of the Sabre .50bmg
