The Henry H016 Series of Golden Boy Revolvers
Henry Firearms started out with rimfire rifles, including their Golden Boy lever action rifle in .22 LR. They surprised the gun community with their Big Boy .357 Magnum revolvers last year, and now they’ve released a .22 LR version, the Golden Boy Revolvers.
The Henry Golden Boy Revolver features a deeply blued steel medium-size frame, genuine American walnut grip panels, and a highly polished brass backstrap and trigger guard. It mimics its big bore .357 brother, and shares the materials and style of their Golden Boy rifles. It’s available in both a square Gunfighter-style grip and a rounded, more compact Birdshead style grip.
The Golden Boy is a double action revolver with hand-fitted internal components and high tolerances. This delivers the same smooth action that the Big Boy revolvers have. A linear trigger pull aids the smooth feel in double action, and the Golden Boy has a short, crisp break in single action.
While the Bog Boy has a typival 6-round capacity, the .22 LR Golden Boy makes full use of the cylinder in a medium frame revolver, holding 10 rounds. It has a quick takedown system to make cleaning a fast and easy too.
Both Golden Boy models have 4-inch round-profile blued steel barrels. Sighting is by a traditional fixed notch rear sight cut directly into the frame, and a front sight with three heights of front blades to adjust your point of aim.
The Golden Boy Revolver weighs 36-37 ounces depending on your grip shape. MSRP is a cool $928.00, although you get a finely tuned, American made revolver, made from steel, wood and brass for the price.

Looks awesome. What is the trigger weight?
“MSRP is a cool $928.00, although you get a finely tuned, American made revolver, made from steel, wood and brass for the price.”
Nice, but *yikes*!
The Ruger all-steel versions are roughly on-half of that…
It’s a 10-shot .22LR revolver. The S&W 617 and Ruger GP100 10-shooters are gonna be around the same price.
I hate the look of revolvers which have a naked ejection rod sitting under the barrel.
The ONLY thing about this revolver that appeals to me is its 10-round cylinder capacity.
