The Colorado Gun Ban Bill Wouldn’t Ban All Guns, Just the Most Popular Ones

NO.

Colorado Senate Bill 3 would ban semiautomatic rifles, shotguns and gas-operated pistols that fire ammunition larger than .22 caliber and accept a detachable magazine.

Guns that use a detachable magazine and .22 caliber or smaller ammunition would be prohibited only if they have a separate upper and lower receiver. Firearms manually operated by bolt, pump lever or slide action would be exempt.

The legislation would prohibit the manufacture, sale and purchase of weapons covered under the ban, but wouldn’t outlaw possession of firearms Coloradans already own. Semiautomatic firearms are those that automatically load a new round after one is fired, but still require a trigger pull for each shot.

The ban would apply to the AR-15, TEC-9, Century Arms Draco and many other popular models.

  1. They need to ban your guns because they have to protect Tren de Aragua.

Colorado’s a meme state not to be taken seriously.
