  1. This is just the start.

The DNC is riddled with grifters and associated hangers-on who are adept at fleecing the party (e.g., see all those “consultants” who raked in massive sums from the Harris campaign). To counteract them, it takes managers and leaders who not only can say no to these parasites, but also have the accounting and financial management experience to detect when they are fleecing you.

Hogg has none of these skills or inclinations. Any funds Hogg has any responsibility over, the grifters will rob the DNC blind.

    1. Geoff "I'm getting too old for this shit" PR

Tempers are very short in the DNC these days concening wasted money, and this grift has been noted, and folks are not pleased.

      Good.

LKB – I noted that over 230 SCotUS cases were refused cert. today, but NOT the 2 ‘AWB’ cases in front of them.

      Should we remain hopeful?

      1. They keep being relisted. That’s not uncommon for high profile cases, but the Fourth Circuit’s Snope decision was so patently at odds with Bruen (and common sense) that I do not understand why that one wasn’t just summarily reversed.

Only reason I can surmise is that ACB is waffling, and so the Thomas/Alito/Gorsuch/Kavanaugh block doesn’t want to grant cert unless they are comfortable that she won’t vote to undo / severely pare back Bruen.

  2. We suggested caution be exercised before the DNC put an impulsive, often ill-informed individual with little real-world experience in such a prominent position, especially considering he would be given direct access to steering Democrat policy and public perception.

And why would we do that? Anything which helps the Democrat Party implode is a good thing. Let’s apply the Napolean Bonaparte principle: never interrupt your enemy when he/she is making a mistake.

  3. He has that much cash, yet he’s paying $5k a year in interest? Is that for a fake loan? Why else would you waste money like that?

  4. There are plenty of Democrats who support the Second Amendment

Define plenty. Just because they’re gun owners does NOT mean that they support the 2A. Many of them are fine with banning scary rifles and “high capacity” magazines because “no one needs that.”
