Have you ever heard of NEO Philanthropy? They’re a left-wing group that has been around for more than 40 years. NEO wants folks to believe it’s a partnership between “changemakers and funders.” They claim to provide “resources to groups accelerating change.” Race, gender, and DEI are huge for them, but guns are a problem for them, too.
An incredible database has outed NEO Philanthropy’s actual duties, and those of thousands of other similar groups. NEO, it turns out, is nothing more than a middleman. It receives money and funnels some of it to Everytown for Gun Safety as well as other leftwing, anti-gun groups.
The website is called DataRepublican.com and it will forever change the way nonprofits handle their funding, especially those on the left.

A Closer look
“Have you ever wondered where the money goes? Billions of dollars are spent on government grants, charities, and other organizations every year,” the DataRepublican.com website states. “We’re connecting the dots between government grants, charities, and drawing connections to expose where the money flows.”
The site has already garnered high praise.
“Worth following @datarepublican,” said Elon Musk.
“Love your insights! You’re a must follow on this platform,” said Charlie Kirk.
It has already proven incredibly useful. On Wednesday, NAGR’s Hannah Hill “exposed taxpayer money flowing to Bloomberg gun control orgs.”
The next day, she used the website to link USAID funds that were laundered to Everytown, Giffords and other gun-control organizations.

“It looks damning at first blush—we’re digging deeper. Stay tuned,” Hill said in a tweet.
Her findings show massive contributions flowing to Everytown, which include: $245,000 from the Board of Trustees of the Leland, $150,000 from the Tides Center, $12,000 from Civicus World Alliance, $6,748,000 from Fidelity Investments Charitable Gift Fund, $300,000 from Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and much more.
Most of the major donations were paid to NEO Philanthropy and similar groups, which then passed some of the cash on to Everytown.
How this now public data will affect Everytown isn’t yet known, but none of the anti-gun nonprofits have ever wanted their funding data to be made public in the past. Bloomberg didn’t respond to emails seeking comments about their funding.
Takeaways
DataRepublican.com offers an officer search, federal grant search, charity funding and voter turnout analysis, but its charity graphs are simply stunning. They follow the money better than anything that’s ever been seen before.
DataRepublican.com is also incredibly easy to use. It took just minutes to create graphs to see how the Brady Center, the March for Our Lives Foundation, the Sandy Hook Promise Foundation, Everytown for Gun Safety and Giffords have been funded.

DOGE isn’t taking any money. All they are doing is an audit. They do not have access to change or remove anything. All this is in the executive branch over which the president has control. The money stop is being done IAW law and constitutional authority of the president.
And based on their findings, budgets were being frozen and people were being offered buyouts to resign–for about a day. The Hawaiian judges have already appeared and said “lolno, you aren’t allowed to do any of that, because I say so. Here is my court order to reopen USAID, rehire all the staff, turn Uncle Sam’s magical endless money faucet back on for all the Democratic Party slush funds, and apologize.”
This is the exact same thing that happened every time Trump tried to do anything but be a rubber stamp for the Democrats the last time, for four straight years. The legal system is full of Clinton, Obama, and Biden appointees, plus lots of cowardly squishy judges appointed by Republicans, who are afraid of getting snubbed at the trendy cocktail parties and so toe the Marxist line. It’s Calvinball. The only rule is “you lose because I say so.” You might possibly get five Supreme Court justices to rule in favor of Trump and DOGE, but any such case is going to be delayed and slow-walked for the next four years, if they even agree to hear the case, of which there is no guarantee.
Now, I suppose that Trump COULD have the US Marshals’ Service, or maybe even the Army, kick down some doors and arrest some worthy individuals for violation of the Hatch Act, then arrest some federal judges and charge them with violations of 18 U.S.C. § 371, 18 U.S.C. § 1503, and 18 U.S.C. § 1505. Maybe they could throw in additional charges under the Hobbs Anti-Racketeering Act too. Then Trump could appoint replacements, or maybe put those districts under martial law and set up military tribunals. He could give the orders, anyway. But there’s a saying about giving orders that won’t be obeyed.
Everything DOGE has revealed thus far has been entertaining, and the reactions of the Usual Suspects have been entertaining. That’s all this is. It’s entertainment, a bit of red meat for the red state voters that they may remember when midterms come, or not. Let me know when there are arrests and trials. Let me know when somebody goes to prison.

All due respect, but this really doesn’t prove what you think it does. The good folks over at dataRepublican helpfully provided charity funding tables that not only show what these various organizations are getting directly from the government, but also what they think the indirect funding is.
So let’s look at the numbers.
Everytown USA: $0 direct, $40,264 indirect, .13% funded by taxpayers
Brady Center To Prevent Gun Violence: $0 direct, $10,115 indirect, .08% funded by taxpayers
March for Our Lives: $0 direct, $127 indirect, .01% funded by taxpayers
Giffords Law Center: $0 direct, $15,669 indirect, .19% funded by taxpayers
Sandy Hook Promise Foundation: $1,417,049 direct, $1,512 indirect, 5.05% funded by taxpayers
Considering the massive amounts of federal grant money floating around, if there is a scheme to launder money in order to send it to gun-grabbers, it’s the most incompetently executed one in history.
Any percentage is too much and as any financial advisor will tell you cutting out that $5 a day fancy coffee habit will always be a net gain for your finances regardless of what percentage that $5 is of your total income.
If just .000000000001% of my extorted money not to mention the inflationary tax of dollar devaluation is going to something stupid let alone something that is openly hostile to my rights it’s too much.
If they get a nickel of my money they should be shut down.
Considering the amounts involved here, that’s a little like getting bent out of shape over a government employee donating to a charity that sponsors a cause you don’t like. By the logic you’re using, churches should be under government oversight or shut down if they have government employees who donate to them (something, by the way, that I am completely against.)
You make the mistake of not seeing the overall picture that is just not grants like shown, its much bigger.
For example, Brady received a slice of the tax-payer money pie they called ‘donation/contribution’, but they actually got much more in another category you don’t see – and the organizations it filtered through to get to Brady, they also were involved in anti-gun efforts. So the overall picture is that its not some few thousands of $$$ that went to anti-gun, its many multiple millions. For example, USAID gave the CDC $25 million to fund gun control research and CDC farmed that out to various anti-gun groups and it doesn’t show up in their ‘donations’ or ‘grants’ because the research was done under color of government authority of CDC, Brady and Everytown and all the others all got a piece of this for supposedly ‘research’ in the millions of tax payer dollars but they spent it on anything they wanted and called it ‘research’. This was a favorite trick of the Biden admin it looks like, hiding money for questionable or even illegal stuff in plain sight by making it look like it went to another government agency when in reality it went to various NGO’s that were covered under the umbrella of the agency as ‘contractor employees’ making this look like they were just regular government agency employees and the agency was doing the work.
They literally laundered millions of dollars to gun control orgs calling it ‘research’ under the color of government authority for some agency or another. Grants are just the tip of the iceberg, and not the whole picture.
The problem with what you’re saying is that government money given for research does show up when you look at grants given to an organization. When the government gives money for research, it is specifically called a “research grant.”
Frankly, the real scandal you find when you look at the data isn’t that a few hundred thousand dollars in taxpayer money indirectly ends up in the hands of gun grabbers. The real scandal is how many 501c3 organizations are 100% funded by taxpayer dollars, to the tune of tens of millions of dollars at least, and, call me crazy, but that’s where I’m pretty sure you’ll find most of the real waste, fraud, and abuse.
It shows up if it was given as grants, but it wasn’t given as grants – it was done by inter-government funding then disguised in such a manner as to look like it was going for ‘research’ by the government agency its self when in reality it was going to the anti-gun groups.
If I give $1000 to a mobbed up casino to launder, it’s still a federal felony. On both ends of the deal.
The crooked government has been doing things with our money for decades including stealing it as well as funding and aiding departments to aid in the theft.
Because money is fungible, and the network of organizations that have sprung up to grift off the river of taxpayer funded grants is huge, of course it is easy to find a path from any source to any recipient. So be careful at coming to conclusions about the specific intentions of those who wrote the original check.
We are seeing how the activist mirage is made possible. Apart from the few large sources like USAID, this is made possible because of the tax exemption carveout in the tax code. When a person who has earned a lot of money seeks to protect it from personal taxes, they can set up a tax exempt foundation. They appoint a few friends to the Board. They can donate their wealth to the foundation and receive a deduction for this donation. Poof, they have just preserved the wealth but now it can only be invested and spent doing activities that qualify to retain the exemption. The foundation only needs to donate 5% of the assets every year to retain the qualification. But any investment manager can earn more than 5%!
With a self appointed board that is immune from outside control, and a sufficiently large initial endowment, this foundation has eternal life. To muck around in society with all manner of activism. Exactly like Gates and Soros are doing. The solution is to raise the 5% to a level high enough that a foundation will eventually spend out the assets and achieve mortality.
Friday afternoon, DOGE said that Health and Human Services canceled 62 contracts worth a total of $182 million in the past two days, including a contract for over $168,000 for an exhibit for Fauci at the NIH museum. (DOGE maybe meant the Stetten Museum, with exhibits displayed around the NIH campus. Musk and his team made clear that the $182 million worth of contracts cut were for administrative expenses and not health care programs.)
