AG Bondi’s Time is Up…Let’s See the Results of Her Second Amendment Review

Gun owners across America are growing restless as they await Attorney General Pam Bondi’s long-overdue report on President Biden’s gun control policies. The report, ordered by President Donald Trump through an executive order in February, was originally due by Sunday, March 9, but the deadline was extended to Sunday, March 16. That was yesterday.

President Trump’s executive order was clear and direct: identify every policy under the Biden administration that infringed upon the Second Amendment and issue recommendations to repeal them immediately. The move was a key promise of Trump’s presidential campaign, and gun owners across the country celebrated the order as a decisive step toward restoring and protecting gun rights.

But now, without a report yet, the silence from the Department of Justice is deafening.

Gun Owners Expect Results, Not Excuses

For gun owners, this isn’t just about bureaucratic deadlines. It’s about reversing years of anti-gun overreach that crushed constitutional freedoms and criminalized law-abiding Americans.

“We’re not interested in half-measures or weak recommendations,” said Chris McNutt, President of Texas Gun Rights. “Gun owners have waited long enough. The ATF’s unconstitutional restrictions, the backdoor registries, and Biden’s war on gun rights must be repealed in full. Nothing less will be acceptable.”

The report is expected to address a range of Biden-era gun control measures, including:

  • The ATF’s unconstitutional rule changes targeting private gun sales and home-built firearms.
  • The ban on pistol braces, which criminalized millions of law-abiding Americans overnight.
  • The relentless push for universal background checks and federal gun registries.
  • And the war on Federal Firearms Licensees (FFLs), which saw countless gun stores harassed and shut down.
Why the Delay?

The Justice Department has claimed that the delay is due to a “thorough and meticulous review process,” but gun rights advocates aren’t buying it. “We didn’t need 30 days, and we certainly don’t need any more than that,” McNutt continued. “Gun owners already know what infringements need to go. Every day of delay is another day that Biden’s unconstitutional orders remain in place.”

Some within the firearms community fear that the delay could be a sign of bureaucratic resistance or political hesitancy. Others worry that the report will focus only on minor rollbacks, leaving major infringements untouched.

The Demand for a Full Repeal

Gun owners expect nothing less than a comprehensive recommendation to repeal all of Biden’s unconstitutional gun control. Anything less would be seen as a betrayal of the promises made by President Trump.

“President Trump gave the order. Now it’s up to Bondi to deliver,” McNutt said. “Gun owners fought for this administration. We demand action.”

Gun owners are watching, waiting, and ready to hold this administration accountable.

  1. Well damn, boys, let’s help her out.

Every state has an affiliated NRA organization like the California CSRA, the Texas TSRA, NYSRPA, etc. Every one of those organizations knows the exact laws that are making their lives suck. Document them and send them to AG Bondi. Make sure not one is missed.

And while we’re at it, where’s Larry Keane and the GOA and NAGR and the NRA etc? They should be doing this exact task. Let’s not shove our collective thumbs up our collective … well, you get the idea. If you want her to get it right, let’s help her! If you’re a member of any of these organizations, make some demands on them. This is the biggest opportunity we’ve had, so don’t be spectators, be contributors!

  2. Patience, little ones.

It took years to fu*k things up…and un_fu*king them is going to take a little time. Only an idiot expects overnight results from government…regardless of who is in the White House.

      1. Ift trump needed to throw gun owners under the bus to get elected or stay out of prison he would do just that in a new york minute.
