Magpul moved beyond polymer magazines for the first time a little over a year ago when they announced their AMAG metal magazines for SIG P320 and M17 pistols. As we expected when we got our hands on a few, they’re nicely made and work as well.
It shouldn’t then surprise you to learn that Magpul isn’t stopping with P320 mags. Today they’ve announced their new AMAG 17 SG9 magazines for SIG P365 pistols. These are 17-rounders so they’re made for SIG’s full-size grip modules like those yused with the X-Macro and Fuse P365s, but Magpul promises more to come. They say these are the first of several new AMAGs for the P365 platform.
Magpul touts these new AMAGs as “coming soon,” so keep your eye out at your local gun store. In the mean time, what handgun do you think should be next up on Magpul’s to-do list for future AMAG attention?
