Aimpoint just announced the new ACRO C-2 red dot optic. The ACRO 2 is an enclosed red dot system that’s been optimized for carbine use. It’s available with three different mounts to make matching up with your particular carbine set up easy.
The ACRO C-2
The Aimpoint Acro C-2 is the latest optic in the ACRO line and is designed specifically for carbines. It has a 2.5 MOA dot that will last you for five years of continuous use on setting 6/10 (daylight setting). All that power comes from a single CR2032 battery that’s loaded via a side tray on the optic. That way you don’t have to remove your optic when you finally do need to swap batteries.
The Acro C-2 is a fully enclosed optic for durability and weather resistance. It’s submersible up to 15 feet and can withstand temperatures ranging from -49 to +160 degrees Fahrenheit. The C-2 has also been tested to withstand the G-force of 20,000 rounds of .40 S&W caliber ammunition.
The Acro C-2 is low profile and only weighs 2.1 ounces. It’s a 1x and parallax-free. Despite its enclosed emitter design, it still allows for a wide field of view. It has 10 brightness settings, 8 daylight settings and 2 night vision settings.
It’s available with one of three mounts so you can pick which works best for you. The mount options are a Reptilia Mount, a B&T Mount, or a Scalarworks Mount. All three options carry the same MSRP of $599.00.
