DOJ Eyes Vista Ammo Brand Sale for Antitrust Violation

…in recent weeks DOJ antitrust lawyers have been meeting with third parties, including law enforcement groups concerned that the deal will lock up the U.S. market for primer, the key ingredient in bullets, according to three people with direct knowledge of the matter. A letter from the National Association of Police Organizations sent last week to Attorney General Merrick Garland also says the DOJ is looking at the deal.

    Are they actually doing their jobs?

    One would expect this admin would welcome consolidation; it makes control and influence much simpler and more convenient. Thus I’m surprised they’re looking into it instead of standing back and letting it happen. Or perhaps this is for appearance’s sake.

  2. These people only do nothing when it is of no consequence to them, but if it is a consequence to others they will do all they can to assure that no one of consequence is omitted. (pun intended)

  3. “Primer”(s) now go into bullets? Dafuq, is that new? Wow, it is sad that so-called professional journalists are so blatantly ignorant.
